Icelandic Science and Technology Policy Council 2003-2006. Internal evaluation report.

Abstract

The purpose of the internal evaluation is to provide the necessary basis for an external evaluation of the performance and impact of the Science and Technology Policy Council from it inauguration in 2003 to the present day. It was undertaken in January and February 2007. It is based on existing documentation and statistics from the national authorities and the Research Centre, from 33 in‐depth interviews with 39 individuals and other consultative meetings and a survey sent to 680 individuals who had applied to the two main competitive funds. The following main conclusions are justified respectively in chapter 4 though 9.
